Ancient Civilizations
Ancient civilizations are one of the most interesting things to learn about. It is amazing how much you can learn about people who lived 2,000 to 3,000 years before us. Ancient India is also very exciting. Many ancient religions started in India. Hinduism, and Buddhism, two very important religions. They were very similar, yet disagreed on many things such as social structure, using castes (hinduism used buddhism believed anyone should be allowed to worship.) Yet since they were florishing extreamly near one another, they did agree on similar things, such as karma, dharma and reincarnation. Differences between the two, caused a struggle for peoples and civilizations to chose which one was right, these include the fact that Hinduism had no true leader or founder, but Buddhism did.
